The firm of Mead, Mead & Clark, P.C., was founded by Walter G. Mead in 1912. When Willis C. Mead returned to Salem in 1940 it became Mead and Mead. John W. Mead joined the firm in 1970 whereupon Mead, Mead & Mead came into existence. Mark D. Clark joined in 1990 which eventually led to the current Mead, Mead & Clark, P.C. John W. Mead is a third generation attorney. Sean M. Mead is a fourth generation attorney. The firm enjoys strong community ties and is active in civic affairs.
